About Frank Joshua
Frank Joshua is a London-based singer-songwriter releasing emotionally intelligent, cinematic pop under a deliberate 'No Face💙Just Music' ethos. Drawing on a musical life that stretches back to his teens when two distinct groups of friends pulled him simultaneously toward Bowie and indie on one side, and soul, funk and jazz on the other, Frank came back to music later in life with a clarity and perspective he hadn't had before.
That return produced a remarkable body of work. Since signing with independent label Numen Records and releasing his debut single ‘Panic In The Kitchen’ in Dec 2020, Frank has had fifty releases, including four albums, all crafted in close collaboration with producer Tony White, a creative partnership spanning more than twenty years. Critics have reached for Talk Talk's later records, Scott Walker, Jacques Brel, Marc Almond, Peter Gabriel and The Blue Nile to locate what he does; Thomas Dolby has praised his "very sensitive vocal performance." Cinematic, slightly haunted, and described by early reviewers as "another bright example of Frank Joshua's skill of giving difficult emotions a clear voice."
